Description
Protected Geographical Indication Drama
The touch of the great “Flying” winemaker Michel Rolland, who consults Costa Lazaridi estate on red winemaking, leaves a strong impression on their oldest red wine label.
Varietal composition: Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, Merlot 20%, Agiorgitiko 10%.
Bright and dense, purple-red color. Well structured bouquet, combining aromas of red forest fruit, cherry jam, and spices on a discreet oak background. Warm and full at first, it then unrolls its richness, structure, and its noble tannins. The long finish sees the return of the aromas of fruit and spices.
It Loves all red meats but is especially fond of lamb chops or oven-baked leg of lamb. Joy with a red sauce beef casserole or soft mature cheeses like brie or camembert.
It will continue to evolve for at least 15-20 years after the harvest year.
