Description
Protected Geographical Indication Drama
The cosmopolitan Sauvignon Blanc and the Aegean Assyrtiko, the two white varieties Costas Lazaridis first planted in Drama, shape the character of this wine.
Varietal composition: Sauvignon Blanc 85%, Assyrtiko 15%.
Straw yellow, crystal bright color, with green hues, an indication of youth. Attractive, fresh aromas that are reminiscent of peach, mango, and pineapple on a citrus background. The grace and finesse of the Sauvignon Blanc meet the strength and intensity of the Assyrtiko. The result is a wine with a fresh full taste and a fruity finish.
Pairs great with green salads, wild greens filo pies, grilled vegetables, seafood and shellfish with light sauces, grilled fish with olive oil, lemon, and herb dressing. It is also fond of fresh white cheeses.
