Description
Varietal composition: Black Kountoura of Kymi, Syrah
Color that visually captures, perfectly clear and bright, deep and purple reflections that betray its youth. The nose gives the first hint of the quality with which we come into contact. Its intensity surprises, whit ripe black and red fruits and sweet-spicy character reminiscent of vanilla, cinnamon and clove. Hints of milk chocolate and toffee complete the picture.
In the mouth the wine has volume but without being a blockbuster, the alcohol level is hidden in an intricate and balanced way with lots of fruit and acidity. Fine-grained tannins, in which the use of a small percentage of Syrah in the blend gives a little boost. The new French oak barrel gives the wine balanced oak flavor characteristics, the fruit is more acidic in the mouth and the aftertaste is long in duration, developing original fruity characteristics aromatic hints of honey, beeswax and roasted nuts.
Ready to drink, but will evolve over the next 3-5 years.
